OUR MISSION
Our Mission is to help our clients through a very difficult financial period in their lives and to help them rebuild their financial future and retain the necessary property in order to manage their finances and restructure and reduce their existing financial obligations. Everyone in our office recognizes that each of our clients is an individual entitled to full respect and dignity. We also recognize that every client is unique and is entitled to legal representation that is tailored to their circumstances that best fits their needs.
BACKGROUND
Before attending law school I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Oklahoma State University and a Master's degree in journalism from the University of Oklahoma. I worked as a journalist in Oklahoma for eight years before going to law school. I graduated from the University of Arkansas Law Review in May of 1983. I was a member of the University of Arkansas Law Review and published an article regarding the Federal Communications Commission and broadcasting rights in 1982. I developed an early interest in bankruptcy law and assisted attorneys throughout Arkansas in bankruptcy law research during my last year of law school.
I opened my first law office on September 16, 1985 in Garland, Texas with a focus on bankruptcy. This has always been my favorite area of law. In September of 1991, I moved to San Francisco, California to open a bankruptcy practice in the bay area. I expanded to San Jose in 2006 and maintained offices in both cities. Presently, my practice is located in San Jose, California. For the past 28 years I have focused in representing individuals and small businesses as they successfully navigated the bankruptcy process.
